Description:
Production Associates will:
- Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathes, mills, boring machines, and grinders to machine metallic and non metallic pieces
- Trim, drill, route, line up, and assemble material
- Work with forming machines presses
- Set up and break down production tools and production aids
- Use gauges, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment to check quality
- Complete and follow work orders, set up cards, and other instructions for work processes
- Perform daily maintenance on machines including: maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, wiping down machine to remove coolant, and dust and debris
- Check and monitor the parts that are being run
- Deburr and blend all parts that are machined
Shifts Available:
6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday
4:00pm - 2:30am, Monday - Thursday
- Both shifts will have mandatory overtime on Fridays during the spring/summer months
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Capability to read the basic dimensions and tolerances of a blueprint
- Good basic math skills
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Any trade school is preferred, but not required
