Job Description:
PURCHASING BUYER
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for PURCHASING BUYERS in BRIDGEPORT, WV
Responsibilities:
As a Purchasing Buyer, you will be required to:

Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders
Deliver a weekly purchase order report to supervisors that indicates the invoice number for all closed orders
Work within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products.
Assist the Department&39;s Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis.
Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate
Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

3 years&39; experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience.
Candidate must be dependable and be able to follow instructions.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Job Type:

Full-time, Contract
Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Must have good customer service and Interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65.
Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office.
Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
