As a Quality Technician, you will inspect incoming and outgoing parts, articles, materials, and documents in accordance with FAA guidelines. You will be responsible for making kits, assembling components, tracking and maintaining shipments using SAP, and working with aircraft and aerospace parts. You will use micrometers and calipers to measure parts to ensure they match the prints. Non-conforming parts will require you to write up a report. The role involves inspecting up to 200 parts per day, as well as documentation, scanning, and working on a computer.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming and outgoing raw materials and parts to ensure compliance with FAA guidelines.
- Assemble components into kits.
- Track and maintain shipments using SAP.
- Measure parts using micrometers and calipers to ensure they match prints.
- Write reports for non-conforming parts.
- Perform up to 200 parts inspections per day.
- Document, scan, and manage data on a computer.
Essential Skills- Minimum 2 years of recent experience with aerospace-specific quality inspections.
- Experience with quality control, inspection, and auditing.
- Proficiency in documentation and quality assurance.
- Ability to read engineering prints.
- Experience with FAA audits.

Work Environment
You will be working inside a warehouse at a workstation, verifying documents and ensuring they meet FAA standards. The warehouse can be very hot during warm weather. The role involves 50 quality inspection and 50 documentation.
The position is for the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 40-hour work week initially. The team comprises about 40 people, divided into Inbound and Outbound teams.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00
