Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Sr Material Handler to join our Logistics Team in Grapevine, TX.

THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION.


The Sr Material Handler performs warehouse functions within assigned area(s), requiring the receiving and checking of materials from vendors, sub-contractors or other sources, stocking materials in keeping with established procedures and locations, pulling and issuing materials and parts for shop requirements, or pulling and shipping customer orders. Performing inventory cycle counts and researching inventory problems in the SAP system. Assist in running warehouse operations in absence of warehouse supervisor.

Your challenges:

  • Continuous follow up and monitoring of progress and adjust accordingly.

  • Support CSR’s and buyers as needed

  • Monitor Andon and Streamflex tools

  • Receiving, stocking, picking, packing

  • Problem solving and support of Material Handlers

  • Monitor transit locations and resolve issues as required

  • Foreign Trade Zone Compliance

  • Safety compliance

Interdepartmental Coordination:  50

  • Support CSR’s and buyers as needed

  • Problem solving and support of Material Handlers

  • Coordinate with Import and Export teams to ensure FTZ compliance

  • Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure critical functions are staffed properly

  • Cross-train departmental staff to ensure coverage is available when needed
