Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving - Warehouse Worker to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of small electronic devices and components, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The position operates during the first shift from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments from suppliers and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Package customer orders securely, ensuring items are properly protected for transit.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and ensure timely delivery of customer materials.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and performing periodic stock checks.
• Organize received materials for storage in designated warehouse locations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing warehouse tasks.
• Utilize proper lifting techniques to safely handle and move heavy packages.

• Two years of shipping and/or receiving experience.
• Experience with ERP System.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Inventory management
• Customer service oriented
• Experience with SAP ERP
• Proficiency in data entry
• Experience with RF scanners
• Knowledge of supply chain processes

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at a major aerospace company and gain hands-on experience working with parts used in commercial airlines. There is potential for direct placement, and the role includes holiday pay for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Additionally, you will accrue 2 weeks of PTO while on contract and have access to a 401k program.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, FAA-audited facility alongside three other warehouse employees. The facility is managed by a third-party logistic company in Twinsburg, OH.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Twinsburg, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
