Job Description:

Reports To: Asset Manager

CHI Aviation is seeking a Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Control Clerk to join the team.  The successful candidate is responsible for all incoming and outgoing materials as well as documentation and inventory of all materials.

Shipping

  • Maintain International and Domestic Shipping
  • Create documents and source correct export information
  • Process and track Fed Ex and UPS shipments, airline freight, and AOG shipping
  • Counter-to-counter Hazmat shipping – IATA Certified

Receiving

  • Receive incoming products and materials
  • Create in-house tags
  • Work with the receiving inspector to confirm parts are certified

Inventory Control

  • Prepare bin boxes, label and put them away in the proper sequence
  • Maintain computer inventory
  • General housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of inventory areas
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent experience) & 2-4 years Relevant Experience Preferred.
  • Background in Aviation preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting, multi-task, and accurately under pressure
  • Detail orientated
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Ability to lift and/or move boxes up to 30 pounds.
  • Hi-lo experience a plus
  • Experience in 121/135 FAA Operations a plus
