Stores Clerk

Job Summary:

The Stores Clerk is responsible to the Manager of Stores and the Director of Maintenance. Responsibilities include purchasing, repair, and storage of spare parts, and supervision of stores personnel.

Functions/Responsibilities

• Maintain an adequate inventory to support K2s fleet.
• Oversee and supervise the activities of Stores Department personnel.
• Evaluate and select reputable vendors for the purchase and repair of materials, consumables, and ratable parts, as applicable.
• Ensure that the proper certification documents (including completed on-site or self-audit forms) for the contract agency are on file at K2, prior to the procurement of aircraft ratable parts from, or shipment of ratable parts to, any repair agency.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all Stores Department personnel.
• Ensure all Stores personnel are provided HAZMAT shipment and Stores Department procedures training.
• Expeditiously routes component parts to outstations when required.
• Routes repairable component parts to vendors for required repair or overhaul.
• Receive parts from vendors, including initiation and attachment of Serviceable tags.
• Ship parts to vendors for repair through the main Stores Dept. (KYIP)
• Preparation and shipment of COMAT.
• Stock shelves and ensure proper identification of parts and shelf locators.
• Adhere to company shelf-life program.
• Load data into computerized inventory control program.
• Perform tasks as assigned by Manager of stores.

Education

• Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses & Document Requirements:
• A valid unrestricted driver’s license
