Tasks
Our team deals with the areas of Strategic Software License and Data Procurement. We support our departments in the selection of state-of-the-art tools and software solutions, dealing strategically on eye-level with the world’s largest IT providers.
- Being responsible for the commercial management and strategic procurement processes in the central License and Data Procurement team of the Lufthansa Group
- Establishing and developing purchasing strategies, including spanet analysis, assessing the number of potential suppliers, and evaluating alternatives to products and services
- Developing and handling professional supplier management through the whole cycle: supplier qualification and onboarding (supplier development, master data management, claimmanagement, risk management, relationship management, etc.)
- Leading complex multi-million value tenders on the spanet with evaluation of offers, shortlisting, supplier presentations and contract negotiations
*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Law, or Data Analytics
- At least 5-7 years of professional experience in procurement or other negotiation-intensive role and several years of project management experience
- Relevant experience and deep understanding of license and/or data contracts, models and pricing schemes and current trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills and a results-orientated work ethic with the ability to resolve conflicts
- Legal knowledge, especially in contract management might be an advantage
- Ability to confidently work in English language, German is considered as advantage
