Job Description:

Performs ST-ALSS supply administration, management, and requisition functions in support of the maintenance plan. The ST-ALSS shall ensure supply flow and expedite supply items as needed for uninterrupted maintenance.

DUTIES

  • The ST-ALSS shall have demonstrated knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in:
    Aviation supply ALSS equipment asset management systems and forms and methodology to expedite supply flow as needed.
  • NALCOMIS and VIDMAFs entry and completion.
  • Other duties as assigned

The ST-ALSS shall have a minimum of two (2) years of aircraft supply equipment assets management experience in the last ten (10) years to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements in this SOW. Examples of acceptable experience: Navy Aviation Storekeeper (AK)/Storekeeper (SK)/Logistics Specialist(LS) A or C school. NEC LS-8012 (Aviation Supply System Specialist)

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of aircraft supply equipment assets management experience.
  • Proficiency in various computer programs required (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Investigation. The NACI process will include requesting a credit history.
  • We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post-offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.

  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklifts, etc.
