Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Spares Inbound Supervisor, the Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing the initial physical inspection and receipt of incoming aircraft parts and related materials. The position is responsible for performing any warehouse function, such as processing any required documentation and ensuring that all products are in full compliance with Dassault Aviation and related air worthiness regulations
Principal Duties:
Perform receiving and inspection duties as assigned; process automated transactions by using data processing equipment in compliance with company policy and procedures
Identify, inspect and process incoming materials and documentation, utilizing online data processing system compliant with Dassault Aviation and Air Worthiness Documentations
Identify any discrepancies/damages of any materials received by properly filling out necessary documentation; report these to appropriate departments for corrective action compliant with company policy and procedures
Interface with buyers, planners and customer service representatives when required to perform assigned tasks
Perform general duties when required such as unloading trucks, operating forklifts and receiving, moving and storing parts
Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure that products are in full compliance with Dassault Aviation procedures and Air Worthiness Documentations
Perform duties in a safe manner in accordance with company safety standards and procedures; notify management of unsafe/hazardous equipment or work areas
Perform daily sorting of all incoming freight by using DFJs color coded receiving system
Non-Principal Duties:
Assist in picking, inspecting, packing and shipping domestic/export orders
Recommend ways to improve efficiency of receiving area
Other duties assigned by management to meet department objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
High school degree or GED
Three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment
Two (2) years of experience processing material receipts/inspecting parts using a computerized inventory control system
Able to communicate effectively (written & verbally) with internal and external customers in a professional manner
Able to work well with others with little supervision
Able to operate motorized conveyor belt systems
Basic-intermediate proficiency with PC Windows business software, Microsoft Office preferred
All related Quality Assurance Training: ESD, AWD, Part Inspection
Additional Desired Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Technicians license or equivalent license
Forklift license
College courses in material management or operations management
Working Conditions:
Warehouse and office environment

Ability to lift 50 lbs
