Location: Heathrow, Terminal 5

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off (2 earlies and 2 lates)  12-hour shifts. Must be willing and able to work shifts covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

What are we looking for?
Were seeking conscientious and committed team players to join us in Engineering Operational Maintenance. You might be just starting out or some years into your career, most importantly youre proactive, curious, collaborative, passionate about the safety, security, and punctuality of our operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Transportation and delivery components, materials to support maintenance.
  • Collect spares/components required in obtaining the expected operational performance improvements for Operational Maintenance.
  • Maintaining the seat cover store within the EAA building to ensure the store is clean and tidy together with having the correct stock level required to support the day-to-day operation.
  • Supporting the Engineering department with activities that contribute to safe and timely aircraft arrivals and departures.
  • Carrying out safety checks, raising and reporting any faults or issues.
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and contributing to a safe, secure, and effective Engineering operation at LHR.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
  • Resilience to handle outdoor shift work in varying weather conditions.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
  • Ability to hold a full Airside Identity Pass (Essential)
  • Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check and with no disqualifying convictions.
  • Full UK category B driving licence for a manual vehicle and has no more than 3 penalty points (Essential)
  • Airside Driving Permit holder or ability to obtain this with the requirements above. Training can be provided (Essential)
  • Undertake and pass a medical assessment.
  • A responsible attitude towards safety and security in a demanding environment (Essential)
  • Operationally focussed (Essential)
