CH-47 Base/Field Mechanic

The PJH base in Red Bluff, CA encompasses 100,000+ sq. feet of operations and maintenance hangars, including an employee fitness center.

Our A&P Base/Field Mechanics perform a variety of general helicopter maintenance including, but not limited to, detailed aircraft inspections, minor and major repairs and alterations, preventative maintenance, and servicing. Our A&P Base/Field Mechanics perform all the base maintenance duties while in the field.

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses.
• Knowledge of FARs – 91, 133, 135, and 145.
• Candidates with Knowledge, experience, and training in the CH-47D, 234 models will be given preference.
• Commercial Driver’s License required.
• If you’re not in possession of a Commercial Driver’s license, but possess other ideal qualifications, you must be willing to obtain your Commercial License immediately after hire.
• Ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, scheduled days off, and on-call during
  busy periods.  Some travel required.
• Pre-employment drug-screening required, as well as ongoing randomized testing.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting while maintaining good working relationships with staff, peers, and management.
