Role Introduction
We are seeking a motivated individual looking to build their experience in port operations and reservations, oversee suppliers for compliance, and ensure safe, on-time ground handling. You will also assist port management in driving service excellence and cargo strategy delivery based at Schiphol-Cargo.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cargo reservations and bookings while ensuring excellent customer service and smooth communication with all stakeholders.
- Monitor Ground Handling Agent (GHA) performance to ensure safety, compliance, and service standards.
- Prepare flight and post-flight documentation and coordinate daily operations with vendors and authorities.
- Oversee ramp operations for freighter flights, ensuring safe handling of special cargo and efficient loading/unloading.
- Ensure timely updates on shipment status and support operational efficiency.
Requirements
Essential:
- Must possess the legal right to reside and work in The Netherlands.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Systems.
Desirable:
- Intermediate vocational education (MBO) or equivalent
- At least 2 years solid Customer Service experience, preferably in airlines or airport service.
- Knowledge of CHAMP Cargospot System is an advantage.
