Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Mechanics License with minimum of five (5) years as a licensed A&P aircraft mechanic with experience on helicopter and associated sub systems.
- Current FAA Class III Medical Certificate.
- Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualified and 150 hours of NVG experience.
- Minimum of 650 total rotary wing flight hours.
- Active US DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS; may include remote or isolated sites.
- Strong English speaking and written communication skills
- Host nation language proficiency per contract requirement. LATAM countries: Spanish Level 2 in both Listening and Reading (L2/R2).
- Perform other aviation duties as assigned.
Preferred:
- 5 years’ experience with S-70/H-60 series.
- Combat experience and previous exposure to operations in Iraq or Afghanistan.
- Previous experience with the M-4, Glock 19, M-249, and M-134/GAU-17.
