Job Description:
The Line Service Technician is a customer service position that is responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft. A typical day will include, towing, hangar stacking, fuel inventory management, marshaling, and fueling aircraft. The line Service Technician must be able to demonstrate good decision making skills, have the ability to follow company policies and procedures and must have a professional demeanor that exhibits excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The position will require the candidate to be flexible in their schedule.The majority of the work is preformed outside, during all seasons, and in all weather.
 
Duties
Fuel aircraft in accordance company policies and procedures Tow and marshal aircraft. Ensure aircraft are checked and secure. Assist with customer service as needed Top off fuel trucks and fill out proper fuel farm paperwork. Operate ground support equipment Assist other departments as required including facility cleaning, and other tasks as assigned. Direct people, drivers and flight crews on ramp area. Other duties and tasks as required.


 
Job Requirements:
Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License Pass Drug and Alcohol testing, background checks and submit to random testing when required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement in a safe, efficient manner. Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others. Must be available to work flexible hours including overtime when required. Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks including but not limited to: facility cleaning, vehicle washing, aircraft cleaning and vacuuming. Ability to work without direct management supervision
