Summary:
As an A&P I/A, you will conduct aircraft maintenance, repairs, and upgrades and will assist with overseeing the maintenance operations of our aircraft fleet and customer aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest levels of safety and reliability. You will assist with developing and mentoring a team of skilled mechanics and apprentice mechanics. Your role involves ensuring safe and efficient maintenance operations, collaborating with other company departments, and delivering exceptional customer service.
A&P I/A Responsibilities:
- Conduct aircraft maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintenance customers.
- Assist the Director of Aircraft Maintenance in managing and overseeing aircraft maintenance operations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance programs and schedules to ensure the timely and efficient servicing of the aircraft fleet.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance staff and supervise mechanic apprentices, ensuring proper training, certification, and performance standards are met.
- Collaborate with other departments, including flight operations, flight school, and aircraft management, to optimize aircraft maintenance processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Coordinate with external maintenance vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
- Stay informed about advancements in aircraft technology, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements, and implement best practices as appropriate.
