As an Avionics Technician for PJM, you will be working under deadlines to inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain aircraft avionics systems in accordance with FAA regulations and standards. It will be your job to ensure that the aircraft is in top working order and to repair any problems before it is returned to service.
Responsibilities:
30% Assist with performing Avionics Maintenance activities of the Part 145 Repair Station’s Avionics Department
40% Inspect, service, maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft power, communications, navigation, autopilot, sensor systems, electrical and cabin entertainment systems for a variety of different aircraft
10% Regularly use and update CAMP, Flightdocs, Traxall for scheduled aircraft maintenance.
20% Assure the maintenance of all articles and components within the Avionics Manager's jurisdiction are accomplished within the authority of the Repair Station Operations Specifications, all Part 145 Manuals and all applicable C.F.R.'s.
