As an A&P mechanic, you will be responsible for providing professional aircraft maintenance and repairs while maintaining all appropriate safety and regulatory standards. You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, restorations, and more on aircraft in accordance with specified manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations. You will be working on a variety of aircraft including Single and Multi-Engine Piston, Turboprop, and Turbofan.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data.
- Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
- Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner.
- Performs additional duties as requested by the Director of Maintenance and other management personnel.
- Assists in, and learns to conduct, high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft & engine systems and components on a variety of aircraft production models using proper hand tools, specialized equipment, and support equipment, in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework.
- Performs minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft & Engine systems and components.
- Prepares various documents for record-keeping purposes, as required.
- Consistently Locates and uses appropriate technical data for OEM Aircraft Manufacturers.
