New Moon Aviation is seeking a skilled and experienced A&P Certified Mechanic to join our dedicated team at our Bend Shop, located at the Bend Municipal Airport (KBND). This role is ideal for someone with expertise in piston aircraft maintenance, a strong commitment to teamwork, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of our diverse fleet.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piston aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on various aircraft systems.
• Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational demands and ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers regarding maintenance needs and updates.
• Utilize computer systems for maintenance tracking, diagnostics, and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 per week

• Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and maintenance tracking.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and industry standards.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug screenings.
