Job Title: A&P MechanicJob DescriptionAs an Aircraft Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the removal and disassembly of defective parts, assembly and installation of replacement parts, and testing aircraft systems. You will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of various aircraft models, particularly Boeing aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Remove and disassemble defective parts.
- Assemble and install replacement parts.
- Test aircraft systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on aircraft.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Essential Skills- Experience with Boeing aircraft, specifically B737, B757, B767, B777, and B747.
- General Familiarization Courses (preferred for higher pay).
- Experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection.
- Familiarity with heavy maintenance and aviation standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 1 - 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Recent line maintenance experience with an emphasis on troubleshooting and daily checks.
- Capability to climb, balance, bend, or crawl occasionally from heights in precarious places.
Work Environment
Work is performed at the Miami International Airport hangar. Shifts include both day and night options, with hours from 6pm to 7am or 6am to 7pm. The work schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts followed by one 6-hour shift. Shift options are Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday. You will work in a dynamic environment with exposure to various weather conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $41.00/hr.
