A&P Mechanic

Job Description

As an A&P Mechanic, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining a fleet of fixed and roto wing aircraft, including Beechcraft / King Air types. You will be performing both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer requirements and FAA regulations. You will also be tasked with the cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors, and coordinating aircraft maintenance with the fixed wing supervisor. Your role will require you to work independently, using hand tools and specialty tooling as needed to complete the work order or necessary job. Additionally, you may also be required to perform phase maintenance and modifications as needed.

Hard Skills

• Troubleshoot, repair and general maintenance on aircraft
• Experience working on Beechcraft / King Air
• Experience working on PT6 engine

• Ability to work independently
• Excellent coordination skills

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.

Work Environment

You will be working in a climate-controlled hangar, predominantly on your own. Occasionally, you may also work with the roto wing group which comprises more mechanics. The fixed wing group has just 1-2 Technicians supporting it. The shift runs from 6am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday, with little to no overtime currently required. This is a contract-to-hire position, with the potential for direct hire around 9 months, based on attitude and performance.
