We’re looking to add a talented A&P Mechanic to our team at our facility in Pompano Beach– DAHER Aircraft Inc. The A&P Mechanic will perform aircraft maintenance, repairs and inspections to aircraft, engines and components on TBM and Kodiak aircraft at the Daher Part 145 Service Center.Job description
Job Duties
- Able to use FAA approved and acceptable data i.e., IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc. proficiently.
- Performs airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
- Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems
- Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in our Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.

Profile and other information related to the position
Required Education and Experience
- A&P License required
- High school diploma or general education degree GED required
- Three plus years of Aviation Maintenance experience required. TBM/Turbo prop experience preferred.
- Inspection experience/ IA designation preferred.
- Experience with TBM aircraft, preferred
- Must possess a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate
- Basic computer skills required
- Must have a complete set of tools
- Must be able to legally work in the US
- Valid US Driver’s License required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check
