We are seeking a Corporate A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance on corporate aircraft at Teterboro, NJ Airport.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Manager of Maintenance (First Shift) for assigned operations.
• Dispatch quickly to repair aircraft as needed.
• Complete assigned tasks properly and timely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete all related paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain an adequate number and quality of tools necessary to perform assigned tasks.
• Ensure proper Required Inspection item procedures are followed and notify the Manager of Maintenance or the Quality Assurance Coordinator upon completion.
• Understand and follow procedures from the aircraft manufacturer’s maintenance manuals.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Manager of Maintenance or higher authority.

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
• 2+ years experience on corporate aircraft, specifically King Air and Citation X
• Active, valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or GED
• Must own and provide a minimum set of tools
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in an environment subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels
• Good judgment in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals
• Ability to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised at any time

• A&P License
• Corporate aviation experience
• Experience with corporate jets, including Citation, Hawker, Challenger, Gulfstream, Falcon, and King Air

We offer a direct hire opportunity with a great benefits package, including paid holidays and 40 hours of vacation in the first year. We also offer a 2nd & 3rd shift premium of $1.50 and the possibility of a sign-on and/or relocation bonus.

Work Environment

The role involves working indoors in a hangar with a dress code of a T-shirt, work pants, and steel toe boots.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
