STS Aviation Services is hiring A&P Mechanics to join our dedicated team in Melbourne, Florida. Job Summary
As an A&P Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers’ aircraft. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting project deadlines. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting AOG assignments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine changes, flight control replacements, rigging, and component removal and installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex aircraft systems issues efficiently and effectively.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, aircraft maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
- Support AOG repairs and travel as needed to assist customers in various locations.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety while adhering to company policies and FAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, with expertise in engine changes and flight control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and all aircraft manuals.
- Must pass an A&P assessment test to qualify for this program.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting and timely resolution.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to support AOG operations.
