STS Line Maintenance is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to support our growing line maintenance station at Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR). In this role, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of commercial and regional aircraft, working in a fast-paced, high-quality maintenance environment.

• Work directly with Station Managers, Lead Technicians, airline partners, flight crews, and maintenance controllers.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on Airbus A320, CRJ, and Embraer 170 aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices.
• Use hand tools and precision instruments to adjust, repair, or replace defective components.
• Maintain the highest level of quality, integrity, and safety standards.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks, and technical documentation.
• Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as required.

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification with no infractions.
• Recent A&P experience with turbine-powered aircraft preferred.
• Experience with commercial and large regional aircraft is a plus.
• Must own standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling provided).
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Experience working in an FAA Part 145 repair station or Part 135 operation preferred.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
• Ability to work standing, climb ladders/stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must pass a background check, drug & alcohol test, and obtain U.S. Customs & Border Patrol clearance.
• Flexibility in scheduling—shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic, customer service mindset, and commitment to quality and safety.

• Pay Rate: $31 – $38 per hour (based on experience and training).
• Annual raises based on performance evaluation.
• Full-Time Employees: Paid Time Off (PTO), Health Insurance, 401(k).
• Part-Time Employees: No benefits included.
