Job Description

We are currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with rotary wing experience to join our team. This is an indefinite contract position with the potential to convert to a direct hire role. You will be responsible for performing repairs and installations on LUH-72 and EC-145 aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
• Work from three-dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.
• Conduct functional checks of systems to ensure proper operation.
• Perform normal troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on various aircraft systems including aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel systems, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions, identify failures, and determine corrective actions to restore systems to required operating specifications and standards.

• A&P License
• 6+ years of experience performing aircraft maintenance on helicopters
• Experience with rotary wing platforms such as LUH-72, EC-145, EC-135, BK-117, AS350, UH-72, UH-60, and Bell 407
• Experience with Part 121 and Part 145

• UH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 experience preferred
• Fixed wing experience with an A&P License considered on a case-by-case basis
• Experience in MRO strongly preferred
• Airbus airframe experience
• Safran Turbomeca engine experience
• Pratt and Whitney engine experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of COLUMBUS, Mississippi.

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $43.75/hr.
