Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance and troubleshooting for both client and company-owned aircraft. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards, utilizing applicable technical data and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and inspection, servicing, lubrication, troubleshooting, repair, modifications, fueling, and de-fueling tasks as required by the work scope.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual.
- Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms in accordance with the RSM/QCM.
- Support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements as outlined in the RSM/QCM.
- Collaborate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives of the work scope.
- Provide services and deliverables that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices utilizing a 5S system of “sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain.”
- Focus on Human Factors in the workplace to drive zero defects in workmanship and safety.
- Observe and administer company rules, regulations, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the corporate mission and vision by achieving department goals and objectives.
Essential Skills- A&P certification is required.
- Experience in troubleshooting and working on all aircraft components.
- Ability to identify issues, refer to manuals for solutions, and work issues to completion.
Work EnvironmentThis position operates on a rotating 1st shift schedule, with hours from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, rotating monthly. Overtime is available. The maintenance department consists of approximately 30 people, including mechanics, interiors, and support staff. Work is quoted and the work package is distributed through leads.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
