Job Title: Aerospace Electronics Assembler
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Shift: 1st Shift only / Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Full Time / Contract / 6 Months
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Electronics Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to assemble and test aerospace components using technical instructions and tools. This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform soldering of electronic components using J-STD-001 standards.
Assemble wire harnesses and related components in accordance with IPC-620 standards (preferred).
Identify and work with correct parts, components, wires, and materials.
Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives as required.
Utilize various hand tools, including calipers, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and soldering irons, to complete assembly tasks.
Assemble a variety of electronic units following established assembly techniques.
Read and interpret technical data, including assembly instructions and engineering drawings.
Communicate effectively with team members and support staff regarding work status, issues, and updates.
Use computer systems to follow work instructions, track labor charging, and access technical standards.
Process material requisitions and generate Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reject tags in SAP systems.
Assist in responding to corrective actions and resolving assembly or work area issues.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
1-3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.
Proficient in soldering electronic components and using hand tools.
Knowledge of J-STD-001 soldering and IPC-620 wire harness assembly (preferred).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Proficient in computer skills and office software applications.
Ability to write clearly and concisely in a technical manner.
Work Environment:
Exposure to products of various weights and sizes.
Working with equipment containing moving parts.
Handling chemicals that may emit fumes (with appropriate safety measures).
Wearing static-control and personal protective equipment to minimize risks.
Occasional weekend and holiday support may be required to meet customer needs.
Physical Demands:
Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements.
Bending, stooping, reaching, and turning as needed for tasks such as placing units on racks or in test stands.
Using hands for extended periods to perform tasks requiring fine manipulation.
Sitting or standing at a workbench/test stand for extended periods.
Lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted and transporting products with or without carts.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
