Job Title: Aircraft Landing Gear Assembler Job Description
We are currently hiring 12 landing gear technicians to support the gear shop. The ideal candidate comes from an automotive service center, automotive or marine mechanic, or has experience working on or maintaining a military fleet. We also welcome candidates from aviation assembly who have a good working knowledge of micrometers and calipers.
Responsibilities
- Service aircraft landing gear components through troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and parts replacement at the component/depot level.
- Utilize manuals and other data to perform tasks.
- Work under the direction of the Production Shop Supervisor.
- Accomplish both repetitive and unfamiliar tasks using aviation repair manuals.
Essential Skills- Strong mechanical ability.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience in backshop aircraft maintenance assembly related to hydraulics/pneumatics, or experience within the automotive industry or military.
- Working knowledge and experience with micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 2+ recent years of experience in relevant fields.

Work Environment
The work environment includes working in a station environment, with shifts available from Monday to Friday, either from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The role involves the use of various equipment and tools, including micrometers and calipers.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
