Tasks
The Aircraft Component Technician is responsible for:
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, paint, and modify avionics components using advanced techniques and test equipment
- Read and follow plans, manuals, customer orders, material lists, and guidelines, applying necessary timelines
- Fulfill installation, repair, and maintenance duties, including project layout, and complete required documentation on time
- Functionally test assemblies to ensure serviceability
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Develop tools and equipment per OEM specifications
- Technicians may be assigned to multiple departments based on operational needs

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- College degree/vocational training desirable
- 1 to 3 years of experience in electronics, mechanic, aircraft slide, oxygen bottles, and/or oxygen masks, aircraft components desirable
- Fluency in English language required
- FAA A&P Certificate or FAA Repairman certificate desirable
- Knowledge of MS Office as user
