Job Title: Aircraft Inspector
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (4 Months)
Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Must be available to work any shift- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift operations
Pay Rate: $43 per hour
Job Description
Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.
Experience working with Quality Management System Policies andProcedures
Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications4. Overall working knowledge of production processes
Contact other company organizations or customer representatives, as required to coordinate and accomplish work assignments.
Good communication skills; written and verbal
Good computing skills
Operate testing machines, calculate and record results
Maintain certifications as required
Plan own sequence of operations
Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
Verify that tools are qualified
Prepare and maintain Quality records
Work across equivalent or lower level Inspector job codes asrequired15. Cross-train in equivalent level Assembly, Composite, Metals, Process and Systems/Payload Structures Mechanic classification
Basic Qualifications
Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments
Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications
Overall working knowledge of production processes
Good communication skills written and verbal
Good computing skills
Maintain certifications as required
Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
Verify that tools are qualified
Prepare and maintain Quality records
Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required
Prompt and on time daily
Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
Must be available to work any shift- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift operations
Available for periods of heavy overtime
5 years’ experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
Blueprint reading experience
MS Office and SAP experience
Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
SAP experience
Pay Details: $43.00 per hour
