We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Controller to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous airworthiness of our fleet, which primarily includes Boeing 727 and 737 aircraft, along with three AD Hoc Learjets. This is a direct hire opportunity with a family-oriented company that values its employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous liaison with all outstation maintenance facilities, ensuring timely reporting of current total aircraft times, inspections, time changes, work requests, and other notable information.
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance employees and contract agencies.
• Authorize, assign, and maintain a daily log of MEL, CDL, and carry-over controlled items, ensuring parts or technical assistance are available for timely repairs.
• Log all troubleshooting activities into the logbook and transfer to KC2 FORM M-17A.
• De-brief layover flight crews or ride-on mechanics at the end of the days flights.
• Coordinate with Flight Operations on the movement of aircraft system-wide, maintenance scheduling activities, and required downtimes.
• Project spare parts requirements and follow up on delivery dates.
• Approve minor work at non-maintenance stations.
• Coordinate all aspects of maintenance performed on aircraft daily with the Manager of Maintenance Control.
• Schedule required maintenance activities to comply with company requirements, including DMI’s, CDL’s, C/O’s, repair orders, and “A” checks.
• Ensure all necessary parts are available timely for scheduled maintenance.
• Track approved Advisory Notices for compliance within the given period.
• Assist in preparing paperwork packages for inspections or engine changes as needed.

Work Environment

Our team works on a 4 on, 4 off schedule, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform your duties effectively.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
