The purpose of this position is to provide line maintenance on Air Canada and on our customers airline aircraft. 

Accountabilities 

  • Routine line maintenance inspections and tasks on all aircraft types within Air Canada´s wide body fleet at Frankfurt and within region Europe and customer airline aircrafts 
  • Performing work in accordance with the Work Performed policy of this manual
  • Identifying and ordering parts
  • Performing required computer entries and functions
  • Signing for the performance of work
  • Complying with company policies, procedures and standards
  • Maintaining personal records
  • Ensuring any issues that could jeopardize production or airworthiness are raised in a timely manner
  • Ensuring airworthiness and safety policies, processes and standards are complied with; and
  • Ensuring a safe and tidy workplace
  • pPerform troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft defects  

Qualifications

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer:

  • EASA B1 License or a Transport Canada AME M2 License 
  • Any one or more of the following B1/B2 EASA 147 or TC approved endorsement trainings would be an advantage -B777, B787, B767, B747-8, A330, A350. 
  • Line maintenance experience  

Aircraft Mechanic:

  • EASA CAT A license 
  • Line maintenance experience on B777, B767, B787, A330, A320 type would be an asset.
  • For CAT A applicants an approved aircraft maintenance apprenticeship is required.

Working Conditions: 

  • German/ EU work permit and a driver´s license is a pre-requisite
  • Existing FRA airport ID would be an asset

Conditions of Employment:

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest, at the time any offer of employment is made and seeking any required work permits/visas or other authorizations which may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position.

Linguistic Requirements

Fluent in English & German – other languages are an asset
