Job Profile We are seeking to hire A&Ps to join our 145 Repair Stations. Our repair stations are dedicated to providing comprehensive aircraft maintenance services. With a complete range of nose-to-tail care, we specialize in airframe, powerplant, and avionics maintenance, inspection, and repair for the Vista fleet.
In this collaborative role, you will be responsible for various aspects of aircraft maintenance, ensuring our fleet remains in peak operating condition and meets the highest safety standards.
A&P Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Conduct line service, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft and their systems, including engines, accessories, landing gear, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Efficiently repair aircraft discrepancies while thoroughly documenting all work performed.
- Perform inspection, rigging, and adjustment of flight controls and control cables.
- Execute phase inspections and repairs specifically on Cessna 560 aircraft.
- Complete annual inspections on piston engine aircraft.
- Manage engine removal, installation, rigging, and adjustment of engine controls.
- Carry out re-fuel, de-fuel, and testing of aircraft fuel systems and components.
- Conduct aircraft pressurization checks, engine run-ups, and taxi checks.
- Perform sheet metal repairs and upholstery maintenance, including removal, cleaning, repair, and installation.
- Oversee altimeter and transponder recertification, as well as RVSM recertification.
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Education:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate (A&P Certificate) required.
- 3-5 years of experience with turbine aircraft preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in Part 135 maintenance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance is essential.
- Willingness to travel as the job requires.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- A complete set of tools designed for or appropriate for aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge and implementation of a shadow box to minimize risk and FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
- Successful completion of employment drug screening, an FBI fingerprinting check, and a 10-year background check.

The salary range for this position is $33 to $40+ per hour.
