Nampa Valley Heli-Services has an immediate opening for full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) responsible for the overall inspection, maintenance and repair of customer aircraft. Your role will involve a meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of aircraft and/or components.
Responsibilities:
AMT’s at Nampa Valley Heli-Services are responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft / engine maintenance, 12 year calendar inspections, ICA inspections, FAA Airworthiness Directive compliance, manufacturer Service Bulletin compliance, modifications and troubleshooting to ensure continued airworthiness.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with a team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Adhering to all relevant aviation regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used, work performed, and inspections conducted.
- Participating in training programs and staying up-to-date with industry advancements to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
- Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and optimize maintenance procedures.
This position requires:
- A high level of mental alertness
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA CFR 145 Repair Station requirements and operations.
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs (occasionally)
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Must be able to climb, stand on ladders / work platforms, bend, squat, crawl as required
- M-F 8-5 work schedule / 40 hr week (overtime as required)
- Hangar / indoor working environment
- Occasional short term travel (as required)
Experienced Candidates will possess:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (current with no enforcement action)
- Extensive experience with Airbus Helicopters aircraft / engine and components
- Extensive experience with Bell Helicopters 206 series / 407 series aircraft / engine and components
- Experience in an FAA CFR 145 MRO setting
- Experience with aircraft/component records
- Recent Factory schooling from Airbus Helicopters and/or Bell Helicopters
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address technical issues effectively.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and precision.
Nampa Valley Heli-Services is a full-service FAA 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station (MRO) located in Nampa, Idaho.
A subsidiary of Nampa Valley Helicopters and Heliwelders Canada; Nampa Valley Heli-Services provides Inspection, Maintenance, Repair and Modification of Airbus Helicopters AS350, H125, EC130, H130, EC135; Bell Helicopters 206B, 206L and 407 aircraft; as well as Bell Helicopter component overhaul.
