About Our Operation:
We are an FAA part 135 Air Carrier. Our primary operation comes in the form of flying our specially equipped aircraft for the US Forest Service over fire operations. Our maintenance requirement includes performing maintenance on our contracted aircraft at our home base in Reno, as well as on mission, wherever that mission may be. We have a mobile maintenance platform, as well as, a support role aircraft that can be deployed on an as needed bases for our aircraft on mission. Our maintenance scope includes inspections, repairs, alterations and engine inspection / repairs.
Essential Functions:
- Perform Phase, Annual and 150 hour inspections. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain piston, Jet, and Turboprop aircraft.
- Provide maintenance support to 135 Charter aircraft in a rapid form and maintaining maintenance schedules.
- Complete paperwork for aircraft maintenance to include company forms, work orders, return to service, FAA forms, Service Bulletins and AD’s.
- Starting, running, and taxiing aircraft operated by the company.
- Deploy as needed to aircraft during fire season for on site line maintenance and inspections.
- Perform sheet metal repair, painting, engine vibration analysis and propeller balancing.
- Installing Fire and Passenger Configurations.
- Performing various non aircraft related tasks for shop and system improvement.
