Looking to join our team? We are looking for dedicated and ambitious individuals to be a part of the Silver family. Silver Airways currently provides more routes within Florida and to the Bahamas than any other airline; having recently acquired Seaborne Airways, based in San Juan, PR, we need your help to keep our fleet running smoothly as we expand! The A& P Technician accomplishes maintenance checks, up to and including line & service checks, along with non-routine heavy maintenance.  

Summary: Any and all tasks generally recognized as, but not limited to, work on or about aircraft, the component parts, ground support and related equipment.  Required to inspect and test systems and component parts and to sign for the work performed; capable of performing satisfactorily to Company Maintenance Manual requirements and standard; and required to instruct less experienced employees. 

Duties & Responsibilities: Promote and foster a safe and secure working and operating environment and the promotion of safety as a core value of the company.  Work only on aircraft and aircraft products for which they are trained, qualified and authorized.  During duty hours, wear company specified safety gear and uniform.  Keep work areas clean.  Return all equipment and tools to assigned area prior to end of duty shift.  Report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Lead Mechanic in charge.  Ensure all steps of a maintenance action and inspection are properly completed prior to signing compliance on the applicable documentation.  Ensure that only proper and current documentation of data is generated and used.   Responsible for safe use and operation of all company equipment.  Identify and report safety concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards using the Company’s confidential, non-punitive SRS in accordance with the Company’s SPM.  Must possess adequate tooling to be able to perform and accomplish the work.  Observe and comply with Seaborne Airlines’ safety rules and regulations. 

Authority: Sign for completed aircraft repairs and inspection procedures when accomplished. Perform any maintenance action or inspection on which they are trained, qualified, and authorized.  

Qualifications: Hold a valid FAA mechanic certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings.  Demonstrate a positive attitude towards productivity and quality maintenance / inspections. 

DHC-6-300 and PT6-27 experience.
