JOB TITLE: Aircraft Maintenance Technician II

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively to receive and complete work assignments.
Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection teams to meet FAA and internal documentation requirements.
Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork accurately and on time.
Assist with shift turnovers and ensure work meets quality standards.
Tag and store aircraft components and customer property securely.
Operate ground support equipment safely (power carts, hydraulic mules, lifts, tow tugs, forklifts, etc.).
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
Protect customer property (PTP).
Collect and dispose of waste fluids properly.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 6S and Lean principles.
Implement continuous improvement processes.
Properly use and store company tools and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.
Use the material tracking system for parts requests, squawk tracking, and labor charging.
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station & Quality Control manuals, and company policies.
