- 1 -3 Years of Experience: $32-33 (Local)

- 3 – 5 Years of Experience: $35-38 (Local) // $37-40 (Per Diem)

- 5+ Years of Experience: $38-40 (Local) // $40-45 (Per Diem)

- $120 per day of per diem

- Will only be paid $100 for training days if needed (max 2)

Job Description

Join our team as an Aircraft Mechanic at a Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station. We specialize in every aspect of aircraft maintenance for the service life of your fleet, maintaining narrow and wide-body, small to large, regional to long-haul aircraft. We also operate one of the largest storage and reclamation operations in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components using company special tools and ground equipment.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
  • Read and interpret manufacturers and airlines’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Complete appropriate identification, inspections, routing tags, and forms, and make appropriate entries into the Component Removal Log upon removing units from an aircraft, engine, or other major component or subassembly.
  • Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or other defects.
  • Repair or replace defective engine parts, reassemble, and install the engine in the aircraft.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.
Essential Skills
  • Airframe experience required
  • 1-5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Current valid driver’s license
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • A&P License
  • Experience with Boeing 777, Boeing, and Airbus aircraft preferred
  • Basic set of tools

Work Environment

You will be working in an aircraft maintenance hangar with exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, and heights or moving machinery. The role requires physical demands such as sitting, standing, walking for extended periods, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level. Occasionally, you will need to crawl, climb, lift, carry, push or pull weight up to 50 pounds unassisted. Equipment operated includes aircraft ground servicing equipment such as tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts, test equipment, hand tools, rivet guns, and drills. Protective equipment such as goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses are required.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
