Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic - Former Military PersonnelJob Description
This is a direct hire opportunity for former Military Personnel with a signed 8610-2 application from a Flight Standards District Office (FSDO). The candidate will complete a phone interview with our recruiter. Upon approval, they will go through the standard onboarding process (typically around 2 weeks) and will be scheduled for a typical indoc Monday start class. During indoc, they will be scheduled for the next available A&P training class with the Global School of Aeronautics in Alabama or Georgia.
- Candidates will go through training and certification for Airframe and Powerplant License
- End goal is a long-term career supporting the flight line A check and Hanger MRO checks overnights
- Long-term Direct Hire opportunities for transitioning service men
Experience and Skills
- Signed 8610-2 application by FSDO
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
- Experience with Boeing family aircraft
- Aircraft Door and Window Rigging experience
Job Type- This is a permanent position
- This is a fully on-site position in Erlanger, Kentucky.
Work Environment- CVG Hangar or Line Maintenance
