Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job DescriptionAs an Aircraft Mechanic, you will perform maintenance and repairs on all aircraft systems in a safe and expeditious manner, adhering to FAA and manufacturer’s specifications. You will ensure compliance with Service Bulletins, Air Worthiness Directives, and FAA regulations. You will work unsupervised and maintain a clean work area, assisting with other housekeeping duties as assigned. Additional projects and activities may be assigned by the Director of Maintenance or the General Manager. A basic understanding of maintenance manuals and general computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on all aircraft systems safely and efficiently
- Comply with Service Bulletins, Air Worthiness Directives, and FAA regulations
- Work unsupervised at any time
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned
- Complete other activities and projects as approved by the Director of Maintenance or General Manager
- Read and understand maintenance manuals
- Utilize general computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Essential Skills- A&P license
- 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Basic computer application skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications- General Aviation (GA) experience (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft)
- Inspection Authorization (IA) experience
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) experience
- Piston engine overhaul experience

Work Environment
Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with minimal weekends and overtime. The work environment is in a hangar.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brainerd, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
