Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with LUH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 experience for an indefinite contract (with potential to convert to direct) to perform repair and installations on LUH-72 and EC-145 aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
- Conduct functional checks of systems for proper function.
- Diagnose malfunctions, identify failures, and determine corrective actions to restore systems to operating specifications and standards.
- Perform required corrective actions by making repairs, adjustments, or replacements.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the assigned lead person regarding schedules, priorities, and availability of parts, supplies, and tools.
- Perform work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances, and other specification requirements.
- Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment in completing work assignments.
- Ensure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
- Coordinate with various departments regarding requirements for materials, supplies, equipment, and job schedules.
- Complete forms and records pertaining to the completion of assigned work.
- Maintain responsibility to keep scrap at minimum levels.
- Follow all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six years of related experience.
- A&P License required.
- Experience with LUH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 aircraft preferred.
- Ability to perform work from blueprints, sketches, technical manuals, and other documentation.
- Proficiency with standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Trade school education is desirable.
- Experience with Part 121 and Part 145 operations.
- Experience in MRO strongly preferred.
- Experience with Airbus airframes, Safran Turbomeca engines, and Pratt & Whitney engines preferred.

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $43.75
