Aircraft Mechanic

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, performing functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems, and inspecting and maintaining mechanical systems such as hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, and flight control. You will also prepare aircraft for flight through refueling and daily inspections, participate in testing engines and auxiliary power units (APUs), and contribute to a continuous improvement program (AES).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control)
• Prepare aircraft for flight through refueling and daily inspections
• Participate in testing engines and auxiliary power units (APUs)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement program (AES)

• Experience as an aircraft mechanic
• Ability to read aircraft maintenance documentation
• M2 license or college diploma in aircraft maintenance OR diploma in aircraft maintenance from a recognized trade school in Canada (Transport Canada)
• Bilingual in French and English

• Experience on Our Client aircrafts
• Experience as an aircraft mechanic in an OEM setting

Work Environment

The role includes a 3-week training and evaluation period at ENA school in St-Hubert. Flexibility is required as the position may involve different shifts.
