Aircraft Maintenance Position
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in General Aviation Maintenance.
- Engage in a variety of maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft and related systems, from basic to complex. This includes the removal and installation of panels and components, alongside repair work and sheet metal tasks. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring optimal performance and safety!
- Perform advanced aircraft mechanic duties and train junior technicians/apprentices in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Examine, disassemble, and inspect engines, parts, and other components for wear, warping, breaks, leaks, or other non-conformities. Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand and power tools.
- Perform service and maintenance on aircraft systems by conducting tasks such as 100-hour and annual inspections, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes. Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts, including wings, fuselage, rigging, and hydraulic units.
- Test the engine and system operations using testing equipment, while listening to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.
- Remove and install engines, Turbine or Piston, from aircraft using a hoist or forklift.
- Disassemble and modify aircraft structures, systems, or components following drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications (STC’s).
- Evaluate aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to assess the feasibility and method for repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tools as required.
- Work independently on projects when necessary.
Avionics Position:
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in General Aviation Avionics. Candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities include installation and testing of aircraft electronics equipment and systems. Regular duties consist of fabrication, termination and testing of avionics system wiring harness, and the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft interior and instrument panels.
Installation of new avionics equipment in general aviation and corporate aircraft, including King Air, Citation, Lear, Beechcraft, Cessna, etc. Experience in these aircraft is beneficial.
Technicians must have a good understanding of and be able to read wiring diagrams and other installation technical data.
Experience in troubleshooting and installing avionics is required.
Must be capable and knowledgeable to perform 91.411 and 91.413 inspections.
Excellent computer skills are required.
FAA Airframe/Powerplant License is a plus but not required.
Previous holder of Repairman License is a plus but not required.
Both Positions:
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license.
- You must have the ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand English.
- You must be prepared to work extra hours whenever operational needs arise.
- Consistent and punctual attendance is non-negotiable.
- You must pass FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing. We will contact your previous employers to confirm that you have no DOT drug violations or refusals to test for drugs or alcohol in the past two years. A required DOT urine specimen will be tested for the following substances: Cocaine, Marijuana, PCP, Amphetamines, and Opiates.
