Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking skilled A&P Mechanics to perform maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft within our completions group, production, and service center. This role involves performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively to receive and understand work assignments.
- Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with MTL, STM, and the Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
- Properly complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist as needed with shift turnovers.
- Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
- Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment and store aircraft components securely and safely.
- Follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment such as external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, and forklifts.
- Coordinate, accomplish, and assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
- Provide training to less experienced technicians.
- Protect customer property (PTP).
Essential Skills- High School Diploma or GED.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of aviation maintenance experience with A&P license or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience working on mid/large size aircraft.
- Knowledge of fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform heavy maintenance and aircraft repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- If former military, must have an honorable discharge and provide a copy of DD214.
- Must have completed high school diploma or GED.
- Must have 4+ years of recent A&P experience or 2 years with an A&P license.
- Must confirm valid driver’s license.
- Must not have any previous failures or failed drug tests under a DOT program.

Work Environment
Must be open to working any shift, including days, nights, and weekends, as needed. Work may involve service orientation on live planes, flight test on planes getting certified, or completions working on the production of new planes. The environment is dynamic, with multiple departments and a focus on quality and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.19 - $36.04/hr.
