Job Title: Aircraft Modification MechanicJob DescriptionAn Aerospace Engineering Manufacturing firm is currently seeking certified A&P Mechanics for our Installation/Modification which will perform various avionics and electrical modifications to a variety of Regional & Commercial Aircraft for companies like United Airlines, PSA Airlines and more.
As an Aircraft Modification Technician you will be a part of a team performing upgrades / modifications to In-Seat Power, Wi-Fi, ACARS & FMS upgrade kit installations on various aircraft types in accordance with aircraft manufacturer manuals, Engineering Drawings, FAR’s and Company policies. Typical duties including tearing out old aircraft components and fixtures, installing new electrical and avionics systems, performing various corrosion and maintenance checks, and then installing newly upgraded parts and testing them.

Start Date: January 7th, 2025
Requirements:
Must have valid FAA Airframe License, Tools and strong work ethic.
Terms:
Contract / Contract to Hire Position (6+ months)
- Direct Employees make between $125,000.00 and $200,000.00+ a year
Shift:
Up to 7 Days a Week, 12 hour days – Typical shift starts at 7:00 AM and will end as late as 7:00 PM
- Not every day will be 12 hours, not every week will be 7 days, however candidates must be prepared to work at true 7 day work week for 12 hours a day
Pay Breakdown:
40 Hour Compensation is $39.25 an hour (pay breakdown is below)
Per Diem Wages: $1,078.00 a week guaranteed (all Per Diem is non-taxable)
Taxable Wages: Straight Time (Hours 1 – 40): $20.00 an hour
Overtime (Hours 40.01+) $30.00 an hour
Estimated Take Home (After Taxes) Pay Each Week: $2,400.00 - $2,800.00
