Aircraft Restoration Coordinator Project - Lead Focke-Wulf FW 190

As an Aircraft Restoration Project Lead at GossHawk Unlimited, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the restoration of a rare German WWII fighter, the Focke-Wulf Fw 190.
• Managing and providing leadership to a team of 6-10 individuals.
• Conducting research essential to the restoration project.
• Delegating tasks to the appropriate team members.
• Creating biweekly progress reports to track and communicate project developments.
• Collaborating with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project success.
• Contributing hands-on expertise to the restoration efforts.

GossHawk Unlimited is a comprehensive aircraft restoration and maintenance facility, specializing in the preservation and care of warbird and vintage aircraft, encompassing both propeller-driven and jet-powered aircraft. Our dedicated team comprises individuals holding A&P and/or IA licenses, ensuring the highest standards in aircraft maintenance and restoration. At GossHawk, our services extend beyond restorations to encompass annual, condition, progressive, and 100-hour inspections, component repairs, engine maintenance, engine replacements, and structural repairs, both major and minor.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold an A & P (Airframe and Powerplant) license.
• Demonstrate previous experience in managing teams.
• Possess sheet metal experience relevant to aircraft restoration.
• Must have warbird/vintage aviation experience
• Exhibit strong communication skills.
• Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Be physically capable of tasks such as kneeling, climbing, stooping, crawling, and reaching.
• Ability to lift, pull, carry, and push loads of at least 50 pounds.
