- Minimum of 5 years of aviation structure maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in depot-level maintenance procedures and processes.
- Knowledge of FAA, military, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with aircraft structures and airframes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
- Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred:
- Experience on the CH53E/K aircraft.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent military certification.
- Prior service in a military or government aviation maintenance environment.
- Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structural Certifications.
- Past Quality Assurance or QAR Experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and manipulate 50 lbs independently when needed.
- Must be able to climb on ladders if needed.
- Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
- Position involves long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling on aircraft structure and around aircraft for maintenance functions.
- Position may require working in a confined workspace.
- Position my require use/exposure to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.
- Position is located in a high-noise area within an aircraft hangar / flightline environment.
- FIT for Duty Physical is required.
- May require DOT and Respiratory Physicals.
Tools: Employee must maintain Government tools as assigned
