Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift: Weekend day shift

Summary:
Perform structural assembly operations in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Assemble and fit parts, perform drilling, riveting, and sheet metal fabrication/installation on aircraft.
Use tools like riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and countersinks; safely remove fasteners without damaging structures.
Interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets.
Inspect assemblies to ensure defect-free work before final inspection.
Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, and clamps; shape complex configurations as per blueprints.
Perform repairs and rework per DMTs, MRRs, and PCOs.
Maintain logs, records, and a clean work area; support the 5S Program and adhere to safety standards.
Properly handle and dispose of waste materials and use protective equipment as required.
Track job activities accurately and coordinate work during shift changes.
Maintain shop equipment and support Lean initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of structural assembly experience.
Familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints; basic shop math and computer skills required.
Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and craftwork aptitude.
Experience with composite resins and materials.
Capable of working any shift, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension).
