JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic II

Summary:
Perform assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting of parts and structures, ensuring conformity to specifications.
Conduct sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of aircraft components.
Use tools like riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and other equipment to complete assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine operation sequence and specifications.
Ensure defect-free assemblies and conduct necessary rework based on DMT, MRR, and PCO.
Maintain accurate logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs).
Follow safety regulations and support the 5S program.
Safely dispose of waste fluids and materials.
Charge jobs accurately and coordinate shift work activities.
Assist with shop equipment and support Lean activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
2 years of structural assembly experience
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use basic shop math.
Proficiency in using measuring tools and working with composites.
Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to meet deadlines.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and work any shift.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
